Queen City Cabaret

Queen City Cabaret is a celebration

of the musical past, present

and future of Cincinnati.

Queen City Cabaret is a Cincinnati-based arts organization and musical duo that brings captivating performances of vintage jazz and pop to venues across the midwest and beyond.

Founded by professional musicians (and friends!) Sarah Folsom and Matthew Umphreys in 2018, QCC celebrates the beloved songs and stories of 20th century American commercial music with intimate cabarets, large-scale concerts, and everything in between. With their signature twist of whimsy, QCC’s expertly-curated performances are designed to take listeners on a “sentimental journey,” reviving and refreshing timeless classics from the Great American Songbook that still resonate deeply with today’s audiences.

In response to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, Matthew and Sarah transformed Queen City Cabaret into a digital streaming service. QCC+ offers a front seat ticket to monthly cabaret concerts of jazz, vintage pop, holiday music, and musical theater, curated and recorded by the QCC artists.

QCC is a resident company at The Carnegie Theatre in Covington, KY, and their performances have been featured by numerous arts organizations and concert halls across the region, including Cincinnati Opera, Memorial Hall, The Washington Opera House, The Fitton Center for Creative Arts, as well as on TV and radio with CET, TVHamilton, WVXU and WGUC. In 2021, they released their first album, “Count Your Blessings: A Tribute to Rosemary Clooney.”
